A house 2 doors down from me had after prom party last night Angry. The kids were screaming outside our house on and off till 4 am, parents picking their kids up till 4am. My kids have had 2 hrs sleep and having to take them in late to school because of it. AIBU if I go round there now and knock them up to tell them how I feel. I called the police twice who were not that helpful. There's glass bottle smashed outside the front of my drive but cant sweep it up because they went in my garden and stole my yard brush!! Biscuit I rent as well so dont know them as they really weird bunch round here who keep to themselves.

4am? Bloody hell. How old are they to have a prom party?

I would go and knock their door and request they locate your yard brush asap as you do not want a flat tyre to add to your fantastic day!

God, poor you!

A neighbour of ours had a prom party last week (ds was there and rolled in after 4am), but they were in tents at the bottom of their paddock so didn't actually hear a thing.

Post Prom Parties which seem to be always during the week should only be held if there are no houses within 3oo yards.

There about 15-16, the parents were dropping them off outside my house at 12.30am, last one picked up by their mother at 4am. Was about 30-40 kids at one point outside my house so had to call the police as DH away with work. I dont really know them as everyone keeps to themselves. What horrible neighbours herbie Sad Off to take some tired DC to school, poor things and have a word with their teachers.

If it was a one off I wouldn't say anything, if it was a regular occurrence then I would go and complain.
