to think that facebook should have a better help facility grrrr

This is more of a rant then anything.

I have had a couple of problems with facebook and their help centre is shite. I can report a problem, but thats it. Yes I realise its a big big big big site with lots of people using it every minute of every day, but surely they can afford people to work for them? Surely have different centres in each part of the world. IE one in UK, one in USA, etc.

The first problem I had was that I kept getting thrown out everytime I clicked on a link. Some days this is worse than others. I have reported it twice, but it still happens.

The next I had (which IMO is worse) is that Im not recieving messages from people who are not my friends. I am in a group and the organiser created an event. She sent everyone a PM and I never got it grrrrrrrr. This has explained something to me. I have recently fallen out with a couple of people and I was supposed to meet one of them to sort things out, but she cancelled. She said she sent me a message, but I didnt get it. Oh I thought, she's pulling out. Anyway more recently I sent a message to both people apologising (even though I believe its a bit of both ways, but thought Id make the first move) and heard nothing back at all. This seemed fair enough, but now Im worried that I just missed a reply as it wasnt a huge thing we fell out over and we are all adults so didnt think they'd be so petty. I wanted to make friends. Ive checked my settings and I should be able to recieve messages from everyone, but it doesnt look like I am. Im not happy as I really was hoping for a reply from these two people

So surely the help centre for facebook shouldnt be so bad should it?

Yes I know some of you will say IABU just for using facebook, but I have found it invaluable when suffering with depression. In fact it has made me so many friends (unfortunately not these two people before).

Have you set it up so that only your friends can message you?

There is not junk folder on facebook messaging. There is messages and other (which appears to be from pages i like) and its not in there.

And yes I have checked my settings and it says anyone can send me a message.
