Perhaps there's a Venezualan connection?

MissCalamity · 22/03/2011 19:36

Seriously??! Can you imagine if you were introduced to "Chavez" you'd think your hearing was going....

As for the story, what a pillock - can't even believe the MIL let him get down the driveway with her grandchild.

I can't believe I live round this area as well Blush

Perhaps he was named in honour of the President of Venezuela?

(Transferred surname; there was an attempted coup there at about the time this Chavez was born - maybe he has a twin sister called Zamora?)

Ok, going to be very judgey here.

What on earth were they thinking of, both parents going out to celebrate and leaving 18 day old baby at home with grandmother?

Flame away, but I find that irresponsible. Not to mention then coming home and fighting over the poor child.

Just a guess, but I don't think they're the type to know much about world politics.

Fair point: but possibly they have a family connexion.
