Of course I'm not BU! I know lots of people feel like they get 'flamed' (where did that saying come from, anyway?) but when truly in need of advice and support, you lot come through. Anyone who posts in AIBU is fair game from what I have seen, why on earth would you ask people if you are being unreasonable? Go to the correct section and ask for advice. I have learnt that if it is practical advice I'm after, not to ask for opinion. I have learnt to be direct and ask specific questions. I have received tons of support and help from here, so thanks!

Have also done my share of flaming on AIBU, but I would like to think that I have offered my share of good advice/experience when people have come on in real need.

If you are new to MN, lurk for a while, discover all the forums and for god's sake, DON'T try to get real advice in AIBU Grin

Of course thats not unreasonable and they should put it in the warning for the whole AIBU section esp for poor new posters who dont know what could lay ahead...

I've had great advice in the AIBU section. Perhaps that is because I am, in fact, hugely unreasonable all of the time?

Note: Please bear in mind that whilst this topic does canvass opinions, it is also not a fight club. You may disagree with other posters but we do ask you please to stick to our Talk Guidelines and to be judgemental as hell civil. We encourage don't allow personal attacks and love a bit of or troll-hunting. Do please report any. Thanks, MNHQ

I think this would show that MNHQ were sticking with the rules but would also make it clear what to expect on AIBU.

And yes, LRD, YAalwaysBU.

You lookin' for a fight Seren?

Love the re-write of the disclaimer, but I suspect it's only people who already know what AIBU is like who'd get it.
