to attack a tin of mushy peas

Last night I was feeling a bit peckish after a bottle of wine so I decided to make oven chips and mushy peas for my supper
The chips where cooking nicley and I went to open the peas(an old fashioned tin that needs a tin opener to get inside)
Anyway the top of the tin had 3 dents in it so the tin opener would not go all the way round and the bottom was dented aswell
I was a bit vexed as I was looking forward to them but I kept cool and just took the tin of peas outside and got a hammer from the garage and smashed it to bits (that got the feckers out)
