De friend. I think you should only be friends with people on fb that you actually like, and who like you.

This person is a very good friend!! He just keeps telling DH what I have been saying etc. Whilst it is a joke between us, I do feel like he is being a bit of a twunt.

So just de-friend or de-friend and block?

Can you block, so that he doesn't see your posts, but not actually defriend? Not sure if this is possible, but if he can't see what you post, then he can't comment upon it

You can block people from seeing posts. In the box where you write your status updates, just below it on the right there is a little padlock symbol.

Click on the padlock, click on customise and type in your friends name in the box under 'Hide this from'.

You have to do this everytime you update your staus, if there is a way to block a specific person or people from always seeing your posts I haven't found it.

YANBU. Your 'friend' is being very weird. Ask them wtf they think they're playing at, and then block them from seeing your posts.

Are you not allowed to spend time on facebook? Hmm

could you just tell him?

Just tell him the joke's over; if he doesn't honour your feelings in the matter, he isn't really a very good friend. And, yeah, why does it matter you're on facebook during the day (apart from it being the work of the devil, obviously)? Are you supposed to be doing paid work for DH's business or something?

I'm liking the blocking him from seeing my posts Grin

I think I will pm him and ask him to stop being an arse. I'm currently an housewife and think friend thinks I sit on my arse, drinking coffee and talking on fb, which to a large degree I do. Its a good job he isn't on mn.....how little he really knows. Grin

Or.

You could have fun.

Post the most daft stuff. Like - doing a parachute jump.

just popping to harrods.

going to buy a puppy.

Had a lovely morning, drinking coffee and eating cake. Going on a shopping spree now...

None of his business what you do. If you want to sit on your arse MNing all day like me, then it has got FA to do with him. agree that he is being an arse. i expect he thinks he's being funny

I think he does. See, DH knows I spend all day some time on the internet every most days.

I have blocked him (and his wife) from seeing any of my status updates, you can set it to default and it will hide the people from all updates!! I shall count the time until one of them questions my silence!!!
