AIBU?

to be getting excited that I might be pg?!

Slim chance as within my most fertile time, we only managed a GOF 2 days before I think I ovulated.

However, I really really want to be pg and I keep imagining symptoms even though I'm only 5dpo!

So far, sore boobs (but I often get them around ovulation), tiredness and a painful knee. Last symptom quite random but last time my knees were affected early on!

I think I am BU and need to calm down!

Pregnancy symptoms do not tend to appear that early after conception. Tiredness 5 days after? Hmmm.
Calm down Smile.
Hopefully you are pregnant and soon will be knackered with your head down the loo but imagining things and giving them importance is just that!
Have more sex. To relax Grin.
So yes, YABU but that's understandable.

You're right I know....

I hate the 2ww though, my head and my body can be so cruel!

I hope you are pregnant [hgrin] some people know or get a feeling very early on. I started being sick 8 days after conception and when it didn't go away after a few days did a test. I think its just how much you are in tune with youre body.

8 days perhaps! Even that is early for testing. But at five days implantation has not taken place yet. Until implantation happens, your body has no idea that you have conceived.
The 2ww is infuriating!!! Good luck fingers crossed for a positive result.

i know what you mean, like if there is a chance you start to mentally think of symptoms and can get a bit carried away, im the same

Yabu but I think we all are when we're ttc. I hope the next 2 weeks go really fast for you and you get a bfp at the end of it Grin

Ridiculous or not I always knew I was pregnant after about 48 hours.

Thanks guys! I agree it's too early (for most people!)
Also big drop in my temperature this morning so now desperately trying to persuade my head that this is t my month (not that it could just be an implantation dip at 6dpo!)

See???!!!! Can someone tell my head to just stop thinking about this for 2 weeks?

I got BFP's with all my pregnancies at 7 dpo with the Pink First Response casette test. I'm convinced they are more sensitive than clearblue.

I'm a testaholic.

Ooh I bet you are Grin

Last pregnancy I had I spotted on my chart long before tests showed positive - go on the Charters Anonymous thread in conception if you're wanting to feed the frenzy of checking your temps and praying they go up/down accordingly. Also if you want to really kill hours driving yourself crackers over this - fertilityfriend has a chart gallery so you can look at all the charts with implantation dips and compare... can kill hours... then there's a preggo test gallery that you can kill hours on as well!

On the other hand, after years of this lark I know how you can very effectively drive yourself nuts symptom spotting and I'd advise you not to, and not to waste cash testing too early (unless you've got a bag of internet cheapies then pee at will)!

FR are more sensitive than clearblue I believe - google will bring up the sensitivity figures somewhere out there.

I just got a BFP yesterday, and started feeling symptoms at about 5-7dpo. I thoughtI was in for an early period as I've never had such early symptoms, but here I am due a July baby and so excited.

Fingers crossed for you.

do NOT test early. the stats for getting an accurate result before 14dpo are pretty shocking.

The month i got pregnant with my third,i completely wrote off, only tried for one month though. As we only did it twice as we were both so ill, don't think we were in the right days either. But bob is your uncle along came Will.

Fingers crossed. x

Eglu - congrats on your BFP!

JodiesMummy and Greedyguts - any news or symptoms?!

I was pretty sure yesterday that I was set for a BFP myself but my hopes have fallen again this morning, along with my temperature. It's not an implantation dip either as it dipped a couple of days ago too. Went 36.93 to 36.31 to 36.92 and then 36.35. That doesn't suggest I'll get my longed for BFP :(
