I am 37 weeks I have moved areas and am now at a new hospital I was seeing a consultant at my old hospital along with regular appointments for checks. I had two checks at the new hospital already one on saturday where I was kept in overnight because my blood pressure was a little high and I had 2+ protein, that night I was told that they would induce then if it hadnt come back down in a few hours. It came down a little and I was told to go home and come back on monday. On Monday my blood pressure was high and DIDNT go down so they said again that they would keeo me in to induce if I had 2+ of protien in my urine or more....I had 1+ lol. I handed in a 24 hour collection on monday and havent heard anything so I assume that wasnt too bad.

I am seeing the consultant at the new hospital for the first time tomorrow (I dont have an appointment because they couldnt fit me in so I have to go in at 1:00 and wait until a gap comes up). Everytime I have been there they have threatened induction only to chaneg their minds - my last two children had been born by now because of preeclampsia and so I am feeling a bit on edge about the whole thing!.

Does anyone have ANY idea or experience as to what the consultant will say? I got the impression that induction in the next few days to week is pretty much expected but i dont know. I am not against induction but its a little unsettling the way they keep changing their mind based on what at least to me seems to be a random and constantly changing set of criteria!

Ideally I would like the consultant to just set out what exactly they are looking for before inducing i.e my blood pressure is still up even of medication so what does it have to do for it to become a problem? will they discuss this or not do you think?

Has anyone been induced because of history of preeclampsia and early signs rather than severe preeclampsia (which is what I had with my last two)
