Air Purifier?? Best one, not too expensive, washable filter ideally...

Hi there

My partner has asthma and I have a pretty severe dust mite allergy. I have always used a little ioniser which were obvioulsy popular back in the 80's and 90's before air purifiers came along and took over.

We are having our first child in a few weeks and the little ionizer is pretty past it now although it has always been effective in the confines of our small bedroom.

We have been looking at air purifiers and like the look of the Bionare and the Airfree P60 air steriliser but reviews on them are hard to find and pretty mixed with lots of reviews saying to avoid replaceable filters cos they are very expensive so we should just go for one with a washable filter?!?

I'm just looking for some advice on the best one to get that is quiet, not too expensive and reliable.

Any advice?

Thanks soooooooo much in advance. I didn't think to post on here about this until recently!
