My DD is 6 weeks old and has been prescribed Neocate for cmp allergy. She also has bad reflux for which she has ranitidine, but she's still having trouble keeping her milk down. Rather than try more drugs for the reflux we thought we would try carobel as the neocate is very thin so she seems to bring it up more easily.
Those of you who use carobel, how much do you use in what size feed? Also, we used a fast flow teat as all the others clogged, but she still seemed to get frustrated at how slowly it was coming out. We used a fast flow Dr Browns teat and used one level scoop of carobel in 5oz neocate. Hints and tips from fellow carobel users? Thanks!
