where can i get the RAStTtest

does anyone know how i go about getting my dd (15 month old excema suffere) the RAST test.

i don't mind paying

ask your gp if they will refer you. They don't like taking blood from young children - its not easy - so may want you to keep a food diary and try to diagnose from clinical history instead.

forevermore - my DS (8.5 mths)had a paediatrician appt (GP referral) regarding food intolerances/eczema yesterday. They took bloods for RAST there and then! We had already done the food diary thing though & demonstrated the links. Apparently they only do a few foods at a time & for DS are focussing on those most likely to give a severe reaction (eggs/wheat/sesame/dairy). HTH
