gluten/dairy/soya/nut free Christmas treats ideas please

helloooo. My dd 4 has the above allergies. Every christmas we try and find interesting things for her to eat but although there has been some improvement there's still not a lot out there. I know d and d do a super expensive dairy free novelty box but I resent spending 4.5 quid on it.
Does anyone make their own dairy free chocolate christmas tree novelties or have a recipe for wheat free biscuits that actually last? I'd love to make some of those german stylee gingerbread things to hang on the tree, but have not found a good allergy free recipe. your ideas pllllleeeeaase. merci.

its too long since I had these allergies, but Ill willingly bump for you!

the only thing I can think of off the top of my head would be popcorn balls for the tree, and maybe some extra special cornflake cakes with glace cherries?
I also used to make bars out of fudge, mixed with oats and dessicated coconut.

for an advent calendar you can now buy loads opf differents style material ones which u put in any sort of sweets she can have. we used to buy a choc advent calendar, open the top, take out the mould and eat the choccies out of it (yum for paretns!). then make jelly in the moulds. could try melting carob into the mould?

tatt, that sounds great, but the link didn't work? thank you everyone - anyone else any ideas? As she is now four, she is really aware of what she is missing out on - + her big sister is only nut allergic, and therefore misses out on much less.

Sorry no advice but just to say I'm in exactly the same position. Why can't some enterprising manufacturer make a dairy-free advent calender??

They do a 'DAIRY FREE, NUT FREE, GLUTEN FREE & EGG FREE Chocolate Bar' (their caps) which you could melt down and pour into moulds.

kinnerton bar may still have soya lecitihn in, the one they make for Sainsburys does.
