Does any of you lovelies about this that I can pass on to Los nursery as they have no idea how to apply for it.

As far as I'm aware it's not available for nursery. Also the funding is agreed in February to be allocated in October so the child would have had to have been attending school before February. That is my understanding of it.

it starts in April and is 53p a day for each day the child attends.

Seems caught most on the hop as they are now Piloting Early Years PUPIL PREMIA Too selected LA's these are, Blackpool, Bristol, Cambridge, North Yorkshire, Northamptonshire,Hackney and Sock-on-Trent.

I May have this wrong, think aforementioned LA's are selected too report and monitor effect of New Pupil premium Go too //www.gov.uk/early years pupil premium for details or Google it.

WOW !! THAT WAS a mine field basic applies same way as SCHOOL'S PREMIUM PLUS see //www.first4Adoption.co.uk submit to nursery with copy of court order, Who will then submit application with ALL other pupil premium entitles too local LA who submit too central gov for funds.

Just to say....the funding is actually 53p per hour that the child is in the setting, not per day.

Not a great deal of money really, though I suppose if there are several children it could be pooled in some way.
