Panel looming!

I have approval panel on Wednesday and I'm feeling very anxious and excited. Don't think I'm going to get much sleep between now and then. I've just returned from a 3 hour shopping trip for my outfit on Wednesday to realise that the top I bought is almost identical to one I already own! When my colleague asked what I was having for lunch today I answered 'salary' (because I was thinking about my PAR).

Did anyone else feel like they were starting to lose it?!

Good luck dimples - today will no doubt be the first day of your new adventure - no wonder we can't think of anything else beforehand! I was exhausted after panel alongside the elation, do let us know how you got on if you can.

You are so right pickles I am so tired (I have been awake since 3am).

I could not get over how lovely the panel was and how quick it was all over. I thought the chair was going to ask me to leave the room so they could discuss me but she just said that it should not come as any surprise to me to learn that I was approved. I felt v emotional afterwards especially as it meant saying goodbye to my social worker ( she is a student and has just finished her placement).

Now the waiting game begins...

Congratulations dimples! We were approved yesterday too, but our chair person left us feeling a bit flat - 'yes we all wanted to approve you, but we had these concerns and you need to do this that and the other' - all of which had just been discussed in the meeting. He was a bit condescending really.

But, an approval is an approval! On to the next step

Closer, that sounds a bit unfair of the chair, don't let them get you down. An approval is an approval and is a massive big congratulatory deal and no one can take that away from you!

Congrats dibly and closer! Today at work everyone kept asking me what was different - the consensus seemed to be that I was in love. I just went along with that!
