DD is 6, DS 8 and I'm on the lookout for some Christmas stories to read in the coming weeks. The ones we have are a bit babyish now, plus having heard them the last few years I think they'd like something new. I had a look online but there's thousands! So would prefer some recommendations please. Thankyou wise mumsnetters smile

My 9 year old is reading A boy named Christmas by Matt Haig and really likes it (she keeps reading bits aloud to me- it is good, and quite funny too). You could read a chapter a night maybe.

My 7 year old DD has just got into the Daisy books by Kes Gray. She absolutely loves them! There's on called Daisy & the trouble with Christmas that I'm going to get her.
I'm also going to give The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe & The Children of Green Knowe a go this year!
