Any ideas? Been looking on Amazon - in preparation for Christmas. Would probably prefer wooden/sturdy rather than plastic.

Dd has this one www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B007ADIGRE/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?qid=1464008871&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=barbie%20dream%20house&dpPl=1&dpID=51qVqSPyDoL&ref=plSrch&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21 although I didn't pay that much for it. We have had it coming up to 4 years and it is still in very good shape, be warned though you do have to put it together yourself!

The Kidcraft dollhouses are suitable for Barbies/Monster High etc dolls. My daughter has one and it is very good quality. She plays with it loads.

Thanks!
I've camel-tracked a wooden Kidcraft one and the Barbie dream house (what a ridiculous price!!).

The last couple of christmas's the Barbie malibu dream house has been on offer for £50. I only know as I keep looking at it even though we dont need it!

The Barbie Glam vacation house at Argos is only £14.99 if there is any stock near you. I picked one of those up but it was a couple of months ago.

I got the ELC barbie house for last Christmas reduced to 50 around October time. It's sturdy and dd loves it.

I brought DD the big one from ELC a few years ago and it's still going strong (fairly sure it's actually a kidkraft one rebranded)
