Christmas crafts for 2yo

I volunteer as a helper with a family with a 2yo girl and have offered to do Christmas crafts with her next week. Trouble is, my mind has now gone blank! My own DCs are 11, 8 and 6 so I'm out of the toddler craft zone and just can't think what would be appropriate for her age + that she'd enjoy. She has excellent fine motor skills and loves all things sparkly (though both her mum and I have a bit of a glitter-phobia). I was thinking some kind of angels, and maybe hand/footprint Christmas trees/reindeer? Will have a look on Pinterest and ask at our local preschool but as MN is the fount of all good ideas thought I would ask here first! Which Christmas craft activities have been, or are likely to be, a hit with your 2yo DCs?

Depending on how long your there for this is a great one we did yesterday!

Pine cones, painted green (If you have time get her to do it then let it dry, if not you can do it before hand!) with Pom Poms pushed in, and string for tinsel!

Another one we have done is Christmas cards, I used a pack from hobby craft with the snowmen, hats and scarves in, and a load of Christmas stickers which are in pound land at the moment and a load of glitter.. What could go wrong?!

Or if your after something a bit easier there's loads of templates for things like baubles on Pinterest that you can just colour and glitter!!

Make some salt dough stars and let her loose with glitter

Hobby craft have glitter paint, so it's nowhere near as messy as glitter with glue.

Yes - glitter glue and paint is great for that glitter experience without the sparkly floor.

I made Christmas cards with my 3 year old - blank cards, stickers, glitter glue and bits and bobs cut out of Christmas catalogues etc. Also Salt dough, or decorating snowflake cut outs.

Sorry, delayed response but thanks all - some nice ideas. Preschool had decorated pine cones hanging up to dry when I popped in this morning (and, I noticed with horror, a carpet full of glitter), so I think that's definitely one I'll suggest, along with cards and salt dough. Should be enough to keep us busy for a couple of visits.
Hobbycraft, though - oh my. Nearest one to us is a 2-hour round trip so I went on their website and looked up glitter glue, then before I knew it I found myself in danger of getting seriously carried away in the pompom section.
Thanks for all the replies!
