So I've been picking up little bits for my DD's stocking and I originally intended to leave it at that but something has just clicked and I do want to get her a present but am really struggling to think of something.
She loves music and dancing, and is always playing the tunes on her push along walker then dancing away to them but is a little bit young to operate the cd and radio we have in her room. So I'm thinking that we need to get some kind of toy music system - has anyone had a good toy like this that they would recommend?

My 20 month old has been adept at working her sister's innotab to play a hateful Dora the Explorer album since before that age, and she can manage a children's music player at her grandma's like this one www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B000GZ7138?cache=4d4dbff178fc6d9e23d3106347916e60&pi=AC_SX110_SY165&qid=1414746471&sr=8-5&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21#ref=mp_s_a_1_5

I've eyed this player for dd2 before, but yet to get it so I can't recommend

We are also getting a lot of use out of some boogie beebies dvds at the moment, only a few pounds on amazon and well worth it.

Thanks - like the idea of a baby tablet or that music player.

Maybe I need to get her some DVDs as well so we can learn some dance routines to songs and nursery rhymes as I'm not very imaginative - will check out boogie beebies!

My son has the second toy attheendoftheday mentioned and he loves it. Both my children fight over it. The little one loves running around with it and dancing.

It is really annoying though!

Instruments- tambourine, maracas etc might be nice stocking fillers

Dd has a first MP3 player type thing from elc. It's a hand held thing and sits in a dock and plays music. She's forever carrying it round and dancing.
