So have decided that MIL and partner and FIL and partner will be receiving hampers from us this year to include a picture of DS and soon to be born DD along with some homemade bits and pieces created by myself and DS. DS is nearly 3 and pretty good with creative things/following instruction. Also hpy to pretend DS has helped with some bits or give him tags to decorate to help out. I have been all over pinterest but now feel bombarded with ideas so basically just wondering what everyone else has made previously and gifted and what worked/didn't work? And also anything that went down particularly well or flopped?

Ooo and also anything that works well for men? Looking for both food items and other things as well!

Sorry for the long post but thanks for any replies!!! Xxx

Have you looked on pinterest? There are loads of good ideas on there, my ds made reindeer plant pots last year filled with chocolates. They were really easy, just cut out your child's handprint on brown card, stick them on a terracotta plant pot, wobbly eyes and a red pom pom for the nose and they look lovely

Great idea! I would love home made gifts! I think anything food related would be a winner. Personally speaking I would love something I wouldn't make myself, such as some kind of 'luxury' brownie. Also, frozen cookie dough. I honestly wish someone would give me that for Christmas and I can have cookies on demand all year round! :)
