DD is 5 (6 in april) and DS turns 2 at the end of this month. His bday is sorted out but I'm really stuck on ideas for the pair of them for xmas gifts?

I'd like to get DS a wooden kitchen but would like to get him some little extras.

DD has asked for a TV in her room. No way Grin so other suggestions much appreciated.

For your DD - lego, marble run, hexbugs, magazine subscription, CD player, audio books, something she could play with in the car (like one of those fold down art sets that strap on the back of the front seat), shrinkies, playmobil (take a long house, camper van, swimming pool, pirate ship, school, hospital all have very good reviews - if you are planning on spending ££, you could take a theme like holidays and buy the camper van, swimming pool etc), a game like Guess Who or Connect 4 or Hungry Hippos

For your DS - something for the garden (lawnmower, sandpit, wheelbarrow), duplo (the numbers set and letters set are really good), happyland, supermarket trolley, hoover, easel, ride on, magnetic board and magnetic pieces like the djeco sets where you match up the heads, middles nd legs/tails of various animals like a misfots type game

For them both - DVDs? Take a look at the thread about presents that are not toys.

Snap! Although ds won't be 2 until January.

Dd has asked for VIP Pets, not sure what they are, and a vtevh secret diary. She will also get a ready bed (for staying at Grannys), Spirograph, roller skates, disco ball, crafty bits and something Doc MCstuffins.

DH is determined to get ds a ride on tractor for the garden. Also thinking of happyland zoo/farm as he loves animals, fur real dog, ready bed, toy guitar/keyboard, bubbles machine and a Jake from neverland pirates.

Dd has a wooden kitchen which ds plays with all the time. We got some very sturdy wooden pans from ELC which have lasted well and survived being thrown around

Mine were that age last year but ds is oldest, dd youngest.

Ds got a wii and games and a bike as well as books, Lego, playmobil western set and Star Wars stuff.

Dd got a wooden kitchen, train table, octonauts gup x and a woolly the spider that someone on here knitted.

For your little one what about a washing machine ? Cleaning trolley? Both mine have loved these. Both mine adored / adore the shopping trolley, cash register and toy food too.

DS' 2nd birthday is in December!
Birthday from us: brush and dustpan set with mop and bucket in a pull-along cart.
Christmas: toy kithen (Ikea), felt food (homemade), fabric snake (homemade).

That's it. He won't remember it, we're far from flush (hence homemade, that wasn't a stealh boast!), and he'll have presents from others.

Any money goes in his piggy bank.
