Which Playmobil set has the most play value for a 9 year old girl?

My dd has asked for the Playmobil Magic Castle (a whoppping £90) for Christmas. Having looked at the set I am not convinced it will have a lot of "play" in it.
Does anyone have this set for a child that age and if so what do they think of it?
What other sets have really good play value for a 9 year old girl?
We could stretch to it if we felt she would love it and play with it loads but it would be upsetting if it just sat on the dressing table getting dusty.

Mine got a lot of play value out of the take along sets. They have a take along Christmas house and it has had loads of playing with - worth every penny.

Would the take along princess chest cut it? At around £35 you could afford something else as well!

We also found the super sets good value as you get quite a lot for your money. DD2 had quite a lot of them. Here is the princess one which would go nicely with the chest.

On a similar vein, DD1 nagged for a large sylvanian family house for ages. Eventually we got it but it never got much playing with. It was a bit too large to be as portable.

If she will be utterly disappointed with anything else, then maybe. But I reckon the smaller sets will be played with more.

The camper van is good.

I agree anotherbook - the camper van is great. Loads of lovely details, heaps of play value and not a bad price for what you get. Unfortunately she already has it! Thank you anyway though :)
