Present for best friend's (almost) 2 year old ...

... who lives in Australia!

Never met him but our lo's are only 3 months apart. He will be 21 months old.

Last year I bought a T-shirt, beanie hat and little paddington bear. My friend bought my lo some tonka toys (the postage must have cost as much as the pressie!)

Ideally soemthing easy to post ... Any ideas?

TBH it seems a bit mad for you both to sending stuff across the world (and paying the postage). Have you thought about suggesting that you both just buy something extra for your own lo? Or see if you can find an Australian company online who will take orders from the UK?

That aside, the lightest thing I can think of is some mini aquadraw mats like this

Thanks DGIT. I can see that it does seem mad - but it is so nice getting something that we can't get here / has been chosen by my bf.

I like the idea of the aquamat. I have one for my lo - but he just chews the pen! (I am sre he will 'get it' soon!)

Actually, my mum sends gifts to Australia for my cousin's DS who's 2, and apparently my cousin is always pleased to get clothes as she finds clothes a bit more expensive over there.
