I want to watch the entire marvel series from start to finish....

Where do I start? Confused

I have a box set of the avengers assemble which I’m guessing is not the start, but I don’t know what is?

Thanks Grin

This is good for the movies.

Then Spider-Man: far from home after Endgame.

Soubriquet · 21/03/2020 16:14

Awesome! Thank you

I’ve seen guardians of the galaxy 1 and 2. Loved them!

Captain Marvel is also missing in that graphic but it's nearer the end so you've got plenty to crack on with.

Soubriquet · 22/03/2020 11:32

Do I need to watch Agents if SHIELD to understand the avengers?

OP posts:
iklboo · 22/03/2020 11:33

Nope. The back stories are filled in. You'll pick it up.

Daisypod · 22/03/2020 11:53

@strawberrylipgloss Captain Marvel is there at the top after Captain America but I really wouldn't watch it then. Although that's chronologically correct it will spoil a lot of the other films that come later. Best to stick to the order they were released in op as that's how they were designed to be watched Smile

LizzieMacQueen · 22/03/2020 14:07

Which is the one that was on last night? BBC.

AintNobodyHereButUsKittens · 22/03/2020 14:10

It was Avengers Assemble (UK title), listed as Avengers in the graphic above.

stairgates · 22/03/2020 14:22

My favorite is Ragnarok, so funny! Cant wait for the next Thor :)

PrivateSpidey · 22/03/2020 15:11

Sounds like a great plan to me OP. I agree with Daisy - the order they were released is probably the best way to watch.

I like Captain America: Winter Soldier, as it's like a classic spy/thriller film, and Far From Home, which reminds me of an 80s teen movie and has a brilliant soundtrack - actually so does Guardians of the Galaxy now I come to think of it.

From your box set, Age of Ultron is good if you want to see Captain America rip a log in half with his bare hands (or is that just me?). I like Infinity War as well.

Did anyone see Mark Kermode 's Secrets of Cinema last week about superhero films? He included quite a bit on the Marvel franchise - it was really good (and quite funny).

Daisypod · 22/03/2020 15:18

I agree Private, my favourite bit 😊

stairgates · 22/03/2020 15:28

I can see a Marvel marathon coming on! Me the kids and some micro popcorn for the next weekGrin

NeverTalksToStrangers · 22/03/2020 15:30

I would watch them in the order they came out, which isn't as above.

Iron man first before captain America and captain marvel before endgame.

Soubriquet · 22/03/2020 17:34

Is that the only differences?

OP posts:
NeverTalksToStrangers · 22/03/2020 18:22

This is them all bar spiderman far from home.

Hulk could probably be missed as it's Edward Norton and not the adorable mark Ruffalo.

I’ve downloaded Disney + today...so now I can geek on!

Thanks Grin

HesterLee · 24/03/2020 11:11

I'm thinking of getting Disney+ but can't see how to do it on my tv. It's a smart tv but no app that I can find. Any ideas?

Daisypod · 24/03/2020 11:19

@hesterLee have you got a way of searching the apps on your tv? That's how I found it

Soubriquet · 24/03/2020 11:23

That’s how I found it too

I went to search and there it was

OP posts:
HesterLee · 24/03/2020 11:34

Yes I've looked but it's not listed. I'm thinking my tv is too old. I assume if it's not there then there is no way of getting it.
Am thinking of seeing if I can get it on the laptop, then connecting laptop to tv.

TrashPanda · 24/03/2020 11:38

If you have a Firestick it should work through that. help.disneyplus.com/csp?id=csp_article_content&sys_kb_id=92e7685d1bcfc8d4b8651f861a4bcb01

HesterLee · 24/03/2020 11:45

Found that I bought the tv in 2014 - apparantly samsung tv's since 2016 supported.

HesterLee · 24/03/2020 11:47

Thanks TrashPanda. I don't have a firestick but now may be the time!
