I can't wait for it to arrive so I can try it on. I've been doing the low carb boot camp for 3 weeks so have lost a bit of weight, hopefully will have lost a bit more by the time I'm going out
Ooh lush shoes too!
50% off too! Bargain! I got it for sixty odd and thought that was good.
Im wearing mine again Sunday and am very much looking forward to it.
GoldPlated I've just ordered that dress in oxblood from the Hybrid website with 50% off - woohoo!!
I plan to wear with these shoes that I bought ages ago & never wear!
Thanks for your help
The Navy is very very dark. Im.5'2 and a pear shape. It finishes a smidge below.my knees, and is great for cleavage. The neck.is wide, so doesnt feel officey as it only just sits on the edge of.my shoulders.
I wore it with very high purple suede shoes and a purple suede box clutch.
Second question was aimed at goldplated about the ASOS dress - sorry!
Jolie your dress is lovely, as is the fitted one that Curtsey linked to.
What body shape are you, if you don't mind me asking? The oxblood dress is gorgeous, they only have navy in my size and I'm wondering if its too 'office-y'
Love MN. The dress in my link is almost sold out, despite every size but a 16 being in stock when I posted!! You are all welcome, it's a great dress!
Lynniep the 'boring' link didn't work
Any others?
something from wallis? here
bit boring but I like and I like a few other dresses on there too
If prefer a dress but am open to suggestions for amazing tops -I can never find any!
Thanks for your replies
I'm 35 and prefer neurals/ muted colours to brights.
I'm short waisted so kaftan styles tend not to suit me.
I love the fitted dresses in your links
Any more?
[[ http://www.atterleyroad.com/outlet/dresses/bella-camo-leopard-dress.html This]] is a good dress for holding in properties.
I know a few ladies that have This and can vouch it looks great, very figure enhancing.
I have this dress in navy, but the light pink is nice too. Really flattering shape that hides any number of body sins. I paid £75 back in October, so I think £10 is the bargain of the year!!
How glam do you want to go? Ive recently bought this and if I do say so myself, it looks freaking amazing on!
Does it have to be a dress? If you're going clubbing you might be more comfortable in some great jeans and a top that hides your bad bits? I know jeans/top has been done a million times, but it also means that you're more likely to wear the outfit again.
Ooh, and I have spanx type hold in things for legs, bum & tum
Hi
I'm a lurker - very occasional poster - and love the advice I see on here. Also your knowledge of shops that I never knew existed is amazing!
I'm going on a rare night out in 3 weeks time & would really love a new dress to wear. It's a couples night out, meal first & then drinks/ late bars/clubbing
I'm a little under 5'4, 34G chest, flabby tummy, OK bum but chubby legs. God there's no hope for me when I see that written down
. Despite all that I'm a size 14.
I prefer my upper arms to be covered with proper sleeves - those flippy type sleeves make my should/nork area look huge, can wear heels if needed (probable) and don't mind flashing a bit of nork if necessary.
I've been feeling fat & frumpy of late & really want something to make DH start seeing me as a woman again, rather than a mum etc.
Any ideas?
Oh, I'm blonde, fair skin, and budget is up to £100
Thanks
