Onesie for a 16 year old boy??

Has anybody seen any? The great ones in Primark are too long. Have seen some retro tracksuit type ones in John Lewis but they are about £139!! Running out of imagination and would appreciate any help.

I saw them in Bank recently. My 19 year old brother tried one on. He's over six foot though, so they may be too long, although they are footless, so maybe not so much of an issue.

Whatever you do, do not buy the soft grey one in the men's dept at Newlook. I bought DS2 one, it was lovely. I washed it and it shrank by about 4 inches in the arms and legs. I thought I had washed it wrong and he was gutted so I bought another, and washed this one at 30 and again it shrunk. I have sent them back for a refund!

Topman do extra small, but are about£27.

Get one without feet in Primark. ds has a tiger one, which is too long but it doesn't matter (he just looks like a giant toddler with a massive poo in his nappy from behind).

The ankles are elasticated so, a bit like tracksuits, the length doesn't matter so much.

We saw some lads locally in them, DS2 turned to me loudly and said "why is that boy dressed as a bunny?"
I have to say I agreed with him

I got one in Top Man for ds1 yesterday, it's black with a skeleton printed on the front - he thinks its awesome. He's 15. Wanted to wear it to dress down day today. I said no.

Teenagers do. And they are much more covered up than their usual going-out clothes, so I'm pretty converted by now

I got my ds one from George at asda half price in the sale. I can't bring myself to spend more than a few pounds as suspect it will be quite a short lived thing!

mirry, like a toddler who has been swimming in a disposable nappy

musttidy (you really need capitals, btw, Chaos and the capitalisation police will be after you and my old eyes can't cope ), as the parent of a 16 year old girl and a 14 year old boy who struggles to leave them at parties in various states of undress, onesie parties are the best thing ever.

wet disposables are rather bulky whereas surely onnses would be rather, ahem, clingy and not leaving much to the imagination. And surely a teenager wearing one to a teenage party would get himself noticed as he 'stood to attention'

No, because they are baggy. Really baggy, and the way they are made they sort of hang down, but are thicker around the waist, so the wider bit hangs around the bum/crotch line and just looks sort of baggy, nappy-ish.

I presume they wear something underneath them to, erm, keep themselves packaged

I guess I imagined they were like baby snowsuits that you put on on top of everything else?

ds wore boxers, swimming shorts (you know those board shorts) and a t-shirt the one and only time he went out in a onesie.

dd wears a pair shortie pj bottoms and a bra and vest .

To be fair, they have only been to one onsie disco, dd has been to mixed sleepovers in a onesie, and worn them to one school occasion.

It isn't an every day occurrence. And they haven't gone to Tesco in one.

Ah, I think it must have been a mufti day for one of the secondary schools last week when I saw them.
I have to say I nearly laughed out loud - but I dare say I'm old enough to be "invisible" to anyone between the ages of 14 and 25 so they won't be traumatised...
Having driven down our high street late on a Fri/Sat on occasion I can fully understand the parental attraction of them being more covered up
