Ok, after much scouting for suitable resonably priced London venues (thank you once again Messmonster for your tireless research, we have secured a venue near Liverpool Street for Saturday, February 23rd, 2013.

Email me on [email protected] and I will send you the full details.

I need at least 15 delegates to make this financially viable for me.
At least 25 people had indicated a stornig interest in attending an event in London when Messmonster posted up an online survey.

Looking forward to hearing from you all Smile

Must be psychic - just logged into MN SN and saw this - have emailed you. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us Smile.

zumbaleena · 28/01/2013 22:41

Interested

Am so gutted to miss out on this (I have to work that day). Always massively interested in input from a good speech&lang therapist and was really looking forward to meeting fellow MNSNers.

Toni27 · 29/01/2013 12:31

Hi sorry I don't know much as am quite new to all you guys but moondog, what ground are you going to be covering in this meeting? I could well be very interested in joining you if that's okay xx

silverfrog · 29/01/2013 13:37

Sadly, as I suspected, this is not going to be possible for me.

ds is still glued to me constantly, feeds every couple of hours. there is no way i could leave him for even half a day, let alone a full one.

I hope you get the right numbers, and that all involved have a successful day Smile

moondog · 29/01/2013 20:03

Toni, you would be most welcome.
Are oyu one of the people who has already emailed me.
If not, please do. Smile

We held a similar event for MNers last year in Birmingham. Amongst the attendees were Messmonster, Tryingtokeepintune and Starlight.

If anyone would like to come but unsure as to whether I am really a random axe murderer, then I am sure these people can allay your fears, either on or off MN.

Moondog I have emailed you for information, I don't really know what the day entails, but am keen to start being a bit more proactive about the SALT side of ds's care, but don't know if it is the sort of thing that could help.

Thanks.

MareeyaDolores · 02/02/2013 22:16

Silverfrog, could you pretend it's a la leche league meeting and just simultaneously feed and learn?

moondog · 03/02/2013 09:22

Will email tomorrow (can't from phone). Dh is being obstructive but I'm trying to get something sorted so I can come.....

silverfrog · 03/02/2013 22:17

Mareeya - sadly not. ds is a loud and bolshy 6 months old. in between constant feeding he commando rolls about the place, and shouts loudly for dd2 to come and entertain him Grin

Could you please include the colour coding of motivation levels (mentioned in another thread)in the course if it is not already there?

Awomansworth · 05/02/2013 08:01

Just as an aside, I think it's great that you are doing this.

I'm in Notts... so although I would love to come, sadly it won't be doable for me. Are you going to do any literature packs from the day at all.

moondog · 05/02/2013 18:03

Awoman, MNers asked me to do it and as I am always keen for us to pool resources and share best practice I put it together. Smile

I don't think handouts mean much without a face to face discussion but I am sure one of the attendees will be happy to share them with you.
