Ding dong merrily on Mumsnet - the cards have been printed, they're in HQ and all we need now is to sell them! Full details of how to order and pay here. Ginormous thanks again to everyone who contributed. Large helpings of egg nog yule log all round.

Can you buy the other designs too? Or is it 20 of the one in the pic? Thanks

Posey Fri 21-Nov-08 14:57:09

I wonder how many of us will receive one of these cards from a friend, not knowing they are mners and then desperately try and work out who they are.
They are really fab btw smile

GeraldineMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 21-Nov-08 14:57:52

Only the one in the pic - but you can download versions of the others [http://www.mumsnet.com/xmas/ here]]

Great card and it was the one I voted for but I am now not sure .
If you recieved one of these cards from someone whose ds's had those names would you think it was a wee bit odd or just marvellous luck grin

And should I have called them Jesus so they stood out a bit more at school hmm

Hassled Fri 21-Nov-08 16:08:22

I've just ordered 2 packs and think they're fantastic - but am now fretting about my Christian friends. If I send it to the wife of a Baptist minister will she ever speak to me again?

PandaG Fri 21-Nov-08 16:22:07

well, I'm a Christian and would not be offended in the slightest, in fact am considering buying some myself...!

Boco Fri 21-Nov-08 16:33:11

Mumsnet you've got the fully coloured versions of all the others now, so couldn't people download them finished, if they wanted to, rather than the black and white?

littlelapin Fri 21-Nov-08 17:00:58

<applauds Boco, illustrator extraordinaire!>

Ahem, Hassled - as the wife of a Baptist minister, I think it's very funny. grin

Mind you, I voted for the PFB one ...

MNHQ - How much of the £7.50 goes to the charity?

Swedes Fri 21-Nov-08 17:29:10

I see it says all the money raised goes to the cahrity...... are Mumsnet swallowing the cost of postage, commissioning and printing?

AmIWhatAndWhy Fri 21-Nov-08 17:41:55

Oh how fantastic the money is going to kids co!

JustineMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 21-Nov-08 17:43:59

No that means all the proceeds really

Pack of 20 cards and envelopes costs 2.64 to produce, and 1.94 to send. So net to charity is £2.92 per pack

We are swallowing the cost of paypal transaction, the envelopes we send them out, and the admin, mainly because our brains are too small to work out what that cost would be. grin.

The main risk is that we don't sell them - we've done a print run of 10 000 (to get the best price!)

So please do order away!

littlelapin Fri 21-Nov-08 17:59:24

Justine, is it automated, or you and your mum at the kitchen table? wink because my Paypal has the wrong bloody address on it - can I email you my new one please? <idiot emoticon>

JustineMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 21-Nov-08 18:03:15

Automated - I wish! (I think Alexia may flounce wink)
If you email us the right address quick we can fix.

GeraldineMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 21-Nov-08 18:04:38

Boco [and everyone else!] all the colour versions now here

littlelapin Fri 21-Nov-08 18:15:43

Have emailed you Justine, will buy you a drink tomorrow wink

Swedes Fri 21-Nov-08 18:45:53

Justine - thanks for clarifying.

These are brilliant!

However, I am so irritatingly efficient I've already bought my Christmas cards. In the spirit of Christmas and sucking up to Mumsnet I will buy some tomorrow to send to those of my friends most likely to get it!
