Evening all, after much deliberation i have decided on the vista as the pram of choice. I have found plenty of 2011 models but I am looking to purchase the 2012 version. Does anyone know who stocks these yet?
Many thanks

Why not give Uppababy a call or ask on the UK Facebook page.
It may be that they aren't in the UK yet. 2012 versions usually take a few months to trickle through.

Hi tiggy, I have asked on the fb page but they just linked to the stockists page. I have emailed the individual stockists to ask as their websites don't have it on yet either. Just wondered if anyone here had actually ordered one yet. The hunt continues!

Hi Tiggy, don't know where you live, but I bought mine from BabyBarn near Rugby the other week www.babybarnltd.co.uk/, they assured me it was the 2012 model, all their stock came in in December and is continuing to arrive until thru February...I wanted the one I saw in USA baby fair on youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCMDZOSi4ls. Apparently the latest model shown here is NOT available in UK and might not necessarily end up here - US spec is sometimes different? If they do come I guess it would be after April?? BabyBarn do have the new colours and chassis options e.g. black material/black frame; raised seat height option, bassinet updates, but chair does not have the 5 positions (full recline), just 4 but the 4th is very close to full recline.

I am 40 weeks today grin so had to order in December, even though it doesn't have full recline, I am so pleased with the model I got and believe it is the latest model available over here right now, it's such a fab pushchair, easy to manouevre and interchange the seat positions, sturdy yet light, massive shopping basket is fab. As soon as I touched it I knew it was the one for me, might have something to do with being 6ft 2, it's great for taller mums and dads. Got a good deal but there was an offer on at the time of buying, 675 for pushchair with bassinet and covers, nets etc, plus Maxicosi Cabriofix seat and baby Ganoush footmuff. Cheapest basic pushchair, bassinet and covers, nets package is 549 I think from kiddicare and a few others.

If you can wait a few months longer you might be lucky with the 5 positions model but I doubt we'll see it here in the near future. Good luck!

www.houseofbaby.co.uk have the Vista in stock. Very competitve price too.

I think HoB's might just be the 2011 version. I'm not sure though-it just doesn't give the impression it's brand new. John Lewis added the Vista and RumbleSeat to their product list last night. I assume that it will be the new version seen as it's only just been added. Who knows though?!

Bumpsandmore Wed 18-Jan-12 20:33:29

It is the 2012 at HoB - I asked!

aswellasyou Wed 18-Jan-12 21:00:45

Oops sorry, I would have thought they'd advertise that it was the brand new model if it was. I can't be the only person who would assume otherwise.

BrassMonkeyBaubles Wed 18-Jan-12 22:20:34

You know you can order it from amazon.com (yes the usa site) including shipping and import duty for £380....wink

aswellasyou Thu 19-Jan-12 11:05:15

That's a bargain!! Last time I looked, it was about £450.

FriggFRIGG Thu 19-Jan-12 11:08:30

Jeeze monkey! That's so cheap...almost makes me want to buy another one...for....uh....backup...grin

HypatiaTheProcrastinator Thu 19-Jan-12 19:31:44

This is the cheapo one (also in Lindsey at this price) but it's only a 3 position recline one. I haven't clicked through all of them to work out which ones are which versions.

Skiprat Thu 19-Jan-12 20:48:37

Hi all,
just had mine delivered tonight and looking at the various videos it does indeed look like a 2012 model, well the wheel update is anyhow smile.

Cheers

Tiggywunkle Thu 19-Jan-12 20:52:28

That's good but I wonder why Uppababy UK are saying on their FB this week that the 2012's won't be here until March! How confusing!

Skiprat Thu 19-Jan-12 21:49:07

I know, i saw that which made me think i'd been given a 2011 model even though i was assured it was a 2012 model (which is on the invoice as well) So for the moment the wheels are serving as comformation of it being 2012!

P.s. house of baby also told me when I was enquiring that they had the 2012 models but not the black frame even opened a box while on the phone.

Shouldn't be this difficult really!

I've spoken to the UK distributor over email this week. The 2012 vistas are coming in Mid -end feb though some distributors will let you pre -order now for collection when they're here.

Ive gone with the black framed one. Apparently the US website shows the older style and colour and the uk distributor chooses which colours are suitable for the UK market. I had wanted the maya (yellow) but its not avail in this country.
My pram shop told me that you can buy a swapkit for the seat of your pram at the second stage (without the carrycot) if you wanted a change of colour - I'm awaiting to hear how much these would be

I had originally wanted the bugaboo chameleon but after test driving this, I feel it's a far superior pram at a good price

BrassMonkeyBaubles Fri 20-Jan-12 13:15:35

I have the maya (from the USA) it has 4 position recline and graphite frame. I also have an additional seat and hood in black, which cost £65 from www.pramworld.co.uk it had to be ordered by telephone as it was considered spares rather than accessories. It arrived quickly and was simple to fit. Needing a screwdriver to take out the hood rods from the old hood and put them in the new. The seat is including boards and harness, not just a slip cover as bugaboo would've charged even more for! Excellent value.
