It took me four goes to get my leg into my knickers...and that was just the first side! Oh, the elegance :o

Go on, share your stories and make me feel better.

I was walking the (should be) 2 minutes back from the corner shop (took me more like 15 mins). Sweating, panting, looking a right mess.

A frail old man asked me if I needed help carrying my shopping bag.

...And I was so tempted to say "Yes, oh god yes please :(!"

BaggedandTagged · 16/09/2010 04:05

I started to have to do a commando roll to get out of bed

(DH says actually less "commando" like- more like one of those BSE stricken cows trying to get up).

Rocklover · 16/09/2010 09:15

At only 20 wks and still feeling horribly sick. The effort required to get out of bed in the morning to get dd off to school (rural school so have to drive there), whilst I feel like death is rapidly driving me insane.

I am looking forward to January when this vileness will be over.

redbird79 · 16/09/2010 11:04

Getting a stitch after just walking to bus stop round the corner, having to get DH to buckle my shoes for me, getting in a right strop last night because I couldn't get comfy in bed no matter how hard I tried. Wow, I must be a real pleasure to be around at the moment Grin

lilmissmummy · 16/09/2010 11:05

getting half way up the stairs before collapsing sobbing until dh rescues me!

daisystone · 16/09/2010 11:11

Was in an ante-natal class and my DH turned to me and whispered "You're breathing REALLY loudly". I now sound like a pensioner who smokes 40 day as am constantly breathless.

Pants are hard enough to get on, socks are nigh on impossible.

After rolling around on the bed last night trying to get comfortable and only succeedibng in making myself feel sick and as though someone was sitting on my chest, I got on my knees on the bed and leant my head on the pillow with my bum in the air which was the only comfortable position I could find. I heard DH stifling giggles as he went out of the room pretending that he had to go and get something. I know he was laughing because I looked and sounded like a big groaning heffer stuck in a ditch or something.

Actually, I had enough of being pregnant the very first time I had Morning Sickness. It has not been an easy ride.

Samraves · 16/09/2010 11:17

I have totally had enough... finding it so hard to cope with feeling sick all the time and now got reflux to boot - oh joy...

Physically fed up of being knackered, getting overheated (when normally I love being warm) and I agree - there is a lot of indignity about struggling to put on socks / shoes - think I will definitely not be able to manage that in a few more weeks!

Cicatrice · 16/09/2010 11:23

Vomiting in the street in the morning. Or at any time of the day, actually.

mum2oneloudbaby · 16/09/2010 12:15

I thought i had reached it when the all day sickness returned at 30 wks however my body went one step further at 31 weeks when i started waking in the night to throw up too Sad.

and when this week 33wks the osteopath did my shoes up for me because she couldn't bear to see me struggle anymore Blush.

So it just keeps getting worse!

sedgiebaby · 16/09/2010 12:42

When I went to the hospital physio at 38 weeks for labour position advice/hip readjustment (due to SPD) and after getting dressed I had to ask her to please do up my shoe laces again for me.

(the shame! was hoping she would just offer but didn't! I would have been there all day trying to do it myself)

nymphadora · 16/09/2010 12:55

I'm sticking with fit flops til the end now. Haven't worn proper shoes or socks since about March Blush

I've not had a good 8 months but I'm really fed up now my maternity clothes don't fit :(

sedgiebaby · 16/09/2010 13:02

Just seen mine is similar to a previous poster (my osteo offered too lol, physio had to be asked) I have another...

When I realised I needed to get one of those old people grabber tools to pick things up from the floor. My otherwise (fairly) immaculate house was strewn with things I had dropped and couldn't pick up again for example, pair of pants that didn't quite make from the washing basket to the washing machine.

40+1 today and feeling suddenly twice as big as last week. Baby and I have had a chat and although it has been nice, we think the best thing for both of us is that she gets out now...

nymphadora · 16/09/2010 13:16

When chocolate biscuits give me heartburn and didnt even taste right :(

redandyellowandpinkandgreen · 16/09/2010 13:33

When I am ready to hit the next person who comments on my shape/size/appearance and whether I am likely to have a boy or girl and an easy or hard labour.

It was fun at first.

HobbitMama · 16/09/2010 13:42

Oh this is brilliant! I've so had most of these things, and I'm only 27 weeks with DC4!
For me, though, it had to be this morning when I walked 18mth old DS two streets away to the children's bookshop and had to ring DH to come and save me from having to lift DS up from the floor on his reigns any more, as my back was killing me and I was on the verge of tears!
Oh well, only another 13 weeks to go!!! Sad

nymphadora · 16/09/2010 13:46

When I couldn't remember what I was about to post on here

comtessa · 16/09/2010 13:55

I was thinking about starting a thread like this, walking to work this morning. Much, much needed!

I'm almost 30 weeks and I'm really hoping for flip-flop weather this weekend as DH is away and he's been putting my socks on for me for the last week or so.

Seven to twelve weeks to go... (whispers to bump: Seven weeks is fine by me, little one)

1Catherine1 · 16/09/2010 14:02

Cicatrice, I agree, When I had to go to my local shopping centre and had to run out of Mothercare (of all places to knock you sick- been in twice and each time it sets me off) and run around the nearest corner and throw up several times in the street. With onlookers looking at me in a disappointed manner, I just wanted to shout at them "I'm pregnant, I'm not doing this because it's fun"

sigh reading all your stories though, if I'm hating it already I'm doomed!!!

Jacksmybaby · 16/09/2010 14:03

... when I can't even look forward to going to bed any more because the thought of not being able to get comfortable is so miserable. Sad

And pretty much all of the above!!

36 weeks today.

ThatDamnDog · 16/09/2010 14:04

I'm 38+4 and trying to avoid leaving the house because the next person to say "haven't had the baby yet then?" is going to get a punch in the mouth.

I also really miss being able to roll over in bed without feeling like I'm going to split down the middle.

tanmu82 · 16/09/2010 14:16

I must just rally be a lightweight then because, apart from tiredness and itchy skin, I've not suffered much at all in this (my 3rd) pregnancy.

My bump is quite neat, I've not put on much weight and I've had no SPD or any complications and can still do up my shoes (admittedly it takes more effort, but I can still bend and stuff ok - and even make it to pool a couple times a week)

I mostly just want to meet my baby now already! 6 1/2 weeks to go......

nymphadora · 16/09/2010 14:31

I remembered.

When you spend more time in thebathroom than bed at night

shieldbug · 16/09/2010 14:36

When people start disagreeing with you about how long you've got left because you are so massive(as in Noooo, surely you're going to give birth in the next few days, you can't possibly have a MONTH left!)As if I may have got my dates confused!

comtessa · 16/09/2010 14:37

I'm with you on that one shieldbug!

eddy26 · 16/09/2010 14:47

way too much info here but....

when, finally getting the urge to relieve my constipation, i find i cant cos the baby is wriggling (i have never been good at that kind of thing with an audience),

and

when finally being able to follow through i find my ever increasing butt makes my arms too short to be able to wipe
