Mmmm, pancakes :)

Lemon and sugar are the best.

Savoury, a ' dry' bolognaise sauce, or ratatouille.

I may have to start early Grin

If I have any chilli or bolanaise is the freezer the. Ill have savoury pancakes first, make up a thick pancake, dollop of bolanaise in the middle and roll up. Yummy.

If nothing in the freezer then cook a pancake but while its still in the pan put on grated gruyer cheese which will melt quickly onto the pancake, then dump on a slice or two of ham and roll up.

Thin ones for pudding: Nutella and raspberries, lemon and sugar, maple syrup, golden syrup etc

We have sweet pancakes most weekends:

maple syrup
grated dark chocolate and a sprinkle of cinnamon
sugar/honey and lemon
gooseberry jam

I will be ringing the changes on Tuesday with savoury pancakes:
Mushrooms, bacon and goat's cheese with thyme and rosemary
Cheese, ham and spinach and a sprinkle of nutmeg

Then afterwards (DH's request) sweet pancakes with melted mars bars and vanilla ice cream.

When I lived in Germany as an Au Pair (Black Forest) we used to have Zimtzucker - sugar with cinnamon mixed into it. That is, until I introduced my host family & friends to lemon juice & sugar Wink

banana and ice cream or raspberry jam for DS2
