hello ladies :) sorry its been a while since i last posted had a nightmare month well me and my husband both decided to get really poorly with chest infections on my peak days so only managed to do the deed once well i suppose it only takes once but was kind of miffed as i imagined we would of done it alot more lol, my period is due today and had nothing as yet and me being impatient decided to do a pregnancy test and got a negative so think im gonna wait a few more days but saying that as im typing this i have a few tummy pains, im just trying to stay positive and saying to myself that it is only my first month on the cbfm and is not a miracle worker lol although if this month is anything to go by im quite shocked to learn my peak days are day 19 and 20!! i always thought it was around the 14 and 15 day mark! sorry to ramble on ladies hope everyone else is ok :)

CrazyAlien, it is fairly normal not to get a peak in your first month of using the CBFM. It's just getting to know your cycle. Good luck.

DH who has always been my pillar of strength [and full of positivity] admitted he was sad yesterday when AF arrived [onto cycle 17 proper] and would like to go to see our consultant for a chat as to what to our options are. So I'm giving them a call tomorrow and hopefully, he'll be able to see us soon.

Hi twowoulddo - it is confusing at first, we all think that!
CD1 is the first day of your period (or to use another anacronym on here, af for period!) So for eg I am expecting mine to start anytime now, it if began in 20mins I would class tomorrow (not today as so late on in day) as cd1. Hope that helps. - welcome!

Well another step forward of hope of treatment, don't want to jinx it though. God a 2 week wait to get a letter from a consultant to tick a box and the person I saw today tried to assure me it is a tick box procedure. But, but it not feel like it and need to get this letter word perfect for them. Sorry for obscurity, but those who know - would value positive thoughts! Going to see new consultant at same clinic next week, can't get letter in time due to dr's having hols and then, maybe, maybe in Jan or later could have what we need!

hello ladies hope everyone is ok? well its my 5th day of missed period did another test negative , what is goin on im never normaly late if anything a day early seriously this is driving me insane !!! i wonder if its because my peak was day 19 and 20, and im day 31 on cbfm if its to early to pick up im pregnant if you know what i mean because my peaks are so late on in cycle???? i think im just trying to think of all things, and if i am just really late then thats just cruel lol i think im going to make an appointment next week with doctors for blood test.

Michelle I know how you're feeling. That's the way it has been with me the last couple of months. Like your body is just messing with your head. The stress and obsessing definitely can delay AF in my experience.
I'm on CD34 today. My peak days were CD21 & 22. I'm putting off testing this time. Leave for 2 week holiday today and have packed a new packs of CBFM sticks and tampax as not feeling confident that AF won't show.

Fingers crossed though - always a grain of hope.

littlefan really hope you get a bfp will have my fingers crossed for you. I know it feels so cruel to have a late period, thats it now i have had enough of the negative tests going to wait till next wednesday to test agin, mind you its easier said then done, i may just have to lock myself in the house till wednesday to stop me buying pregnancy tests, im sure my local chemist think im bonkers.

Sorry AF got you, Keziah. Sometimes I get my hopes too but it's good to have hope. Wishing all the best for next weeks consultation.

When AF came this time, DH came home after work and admitted that for the first time, her arrival made him . So I made a call and we are off to see our consultant in a couple of weeks for a follow up chat about DH's last SA results, my HSG and my AMH. We got the results over email and were told things were "normal" but don't know the details. It'll also be an opportunity to chat about some other worries/queries I have, possible courses of treatment and costs etc.

Fingers crossed for littlefan and michelle. Until AF arrives, its not over.

Everyone can someone, anyone get a nice little BFP to make us all smile and feel hopeful?

I'm feeling a bit less miserable having forced myself to go swimming and keep thinking about other good things in life. Two friends have had babies in the last 3 weeks and more and more keep announcing their pregnancies. Having had an unhealthy baby and termination all I want is for those ladies and their families to have their lives filled with joy and things to be straightforward, but it does make me a little sad that its not me. not really jealous, just sad really...

Oh well....maybe next month?

girls. i feel really guilty after the last post being absolutely convinced i was about to come on. its day 30 and i was a bit frustrated at her STILL not arriving thinking i have something wrong with me causing me to have such terrible cramps this week, and decided to pee on a stick just to rule that out. i got a faint positive. im going to go out and get another test to make sure. obviously im delighted but i wish it had been one of you lovely ladies that has been waiting such a long time. huge hugs xxx

Well, I did another test and another faint BFP, so I am updating the stats for what will hopefully be the last time (im terrified im going to just come on late and have a chemical...)
