Would be a middle name. I thought a flower name would be nice for a spring baby. (Am due in May)

I quite like Primrose but don't know if it's too, well, prim!

Oh I was going to suggest Columbine - it was going to be my girl's middle name, but I had another boy. But even here I wondered about using it due to the sad events in the USA.

The flower is lovely and the name - it wants reclaiming imo. But I understand why you can't sad

How about Jessamine. Think it's old English for Jasmine.

Primrose is lovely & love Jessamine. How about tulip or cherry?
Or you could go or a flower that blooms in may: www.flowers.org.uk/flowers/flowers-by-month/may/

I know a little girl called Maggie May. Not sure if the parents knew of the song of the same name...!

I like Amaryllis. My DD's middle name is Lily because its my mums favourite flowers.
