A natural name

So we already have a flower and a gemstone (eg Lily and Ruby). Looking for DD3 name that continues the natural theme. Don't mind another flower but feel we may come across as hoping more for a floristry than a baby. Would like it to be a 'thing' as house is becoming festooned with lillies and rubies as friends can't resist - so don't want DD3 to feel left out in future. Would value your thoughts please?

Ooh some lovely ideas there, thank you.

See I love Rose but this is where the florist comment comes from - dh thinks it's too obviously a flower when put alongside the other. Willow I love but think it's a bit sad sounding. I also love Wren but was laughed out of the room when I proposed it (so you can assume dh is also fairly conservative in his choices!)

Do you think Summer has to be a summer baby? (She won't be). Can Robin be a girl or should it be Robyn (and is that so obviously bird like?)

And any more thoughts v welcome... Thank you Smile

DD is Robin. Loads of lovely things with Robins on especially at this time of year. Raven also a nice name... Linnet? Go for a bird!

DancingRoundTheKitchen · 17/01/2013 21:16

Iris is lovely as is robin.
I think albertine is a beautiful name for a girl (it's a sort of rose) but can see it wouldn't be to everyone's tastes!

Gail
Dawn

But of those suggested I like Hazel best

ChestyNut · 17/01/2013 22:06

Love ivy and pearl

12ylnon · 17/01/2013 22:16

I know a Fawn and a Rain. Asa, Secoya, Bay are all lovely (and DP vetoed everyone, boring old fart)

MoelFammau · 17/01/2013 22:54

I love Gail. She'd be DD2 if I ever... nope, not doing the birth thing ever again!
