Your opinions would be appreciated

Myself and DH have narrowed down baby names to a top 5 for boys and girls. These are names which we both agree we like (some of my more unique names have not made the list!) but we can't agree on our favourite amongst these. I know these names won't be to everyone's taste, but if you HAD to name your baby one of these, what would be your order of preference?

Really interested to see which ones comes out on top

Zachary - I really like this and I don't know of any personally.
Jacob - I love this name - shame it's so popular.
Henry - I used to love this, but I've gone off it a bit in recent years.
Harrison - OK, but I'm not keen on surnames as names.
Lucas - I don't like this. Partly the surname thing, partly Lucozade, and partly Adrian Mole's Creep Lucas!

Girls:
Sophia - nice name, nice meaning, but a bit too popular for me.
Isabelle - nice name, but again it's very popular.
Ava - Quite nice.
Adele - OK, but everyone will think you named her after the pop star.
Chloe - OK, not mad about this.

Henry and Ava.

Dont like the rest.

Henry and Ava. I have a 2 year old Ava and although its supposed to be mega popular I've only met a couple of others and I go to loads of groups.

Jacob and Ava, although would happily use any of your list!

Yours girls' names are all really popular, or have been (Chloe 10 years ago). I really like Isabelle but there are thousands of them, the name in different forms appears 3 or 4 times in the top 100, including in top 10. That would put me off but clearly doesn't bother you.

They are all quite trendy names so may date more than more timeless names but if I had to choose then it would be Lucas and Adele.

Lucas - I just can't seem to like this name although I like Luke.

Adele - I much prefer Adelaide, Adela & Adeline. Adele is too associated with the singer for me!
Isabelle - I like this name but the huge number of variant spellings bugs me; I imagine you'd be forever correcting people (Isobel, Isabel, and so on).

Sorry, not keen on any of your girls names, one of billions!

I'd choose Jacob for a boy (except I wouldn't because one of my godsons is a Jacob! - so second choice would be Zachary).

For a girl, probably Isabelle, though I prefer Isabella, or maybe Sophia, though I prefer Sophie. (Who says I have to be consistent?!)

Henry and Ava.

Not sure how Henry or Jacob are trendy and not timeless? They're both really old names,used for centuries!

I like Ava and Henry. Why not Lukas?
