After a couple of weeks off I now have 3 projects on the go

I made a pencil skirt for DD this evening - 25 mins from start to wearing (I'm quite proud of that)

Busy deconstructing/reconstructing a ballroom dress

& now DD has decided she doesn't like the skirt on the last Latin I made; so could I just change it please?

Any ideas? It's the second one pink/yellow on my profile

Is the Latin skirt the shorter one? What doesn't she like about it?

Well it was only side seams hem & waistband so very easy in Lycra

Yes - I think she thinks the skirt is too wispy after the heavier top

There is soothing wrong with the skirt - maybe it should be more like the very top tier of the longer skirt? More net.

Or maybe it shouldn't' be straight along the bottom but echo the hem of the top part...?

I think that is what DD wants.....whether I can replicate it I'm not sure & I really don't want to cut the longer skirt

Can you get some netting the same as the pale colour on the dress and add a wavy layer?

Possibly, or cut strips of it and sort of tie them on/thread them through......you know you make a loop & pull the two tails through?
