To ask DD to tell her imaginery monster to move out of my.......

sock?

DD (just 4) has a large herd of imaginary monsters (not sure herd is the right collective word for monsters what would you call them?).

Anyway a new one called Sugar recently appeared. Sugar is very small and nocturnal. During the day she likes to sleep in MY sock and at night she lives in the sugar bowl or hte biscuit tin filling herself up on sweet things.

This is all very well but DD keeps wanting me to take my sock and shoe off to give Sugar some fresh air and gets quite upset when I won't do it

Can anyone think of a nice comfy place that Sugar may sleep that is warm and safe but with good air circulation. Tomorrow I want to persuade her to move out of my sock.

Yes I've lost it. Its been a rough few days, humour me please. grin

For anyone who's interested, a monster baby is apparantly called a calf (yup that's right just like cows have)

I should explain, our sock monster isn't of the imaginary variety I'm afraid (DS is too young to let us know if we have any of those yet, I'll have to wait and see)

Our sock monster looks uncannily like a stripy sock with googley eyes stick on.
