I'm getting a bit old now to tell wink Is it cool to like Friends ?

Loulybelle Thu 23-May-13 22:19:11

My DD was named after a Friends character, so i hope not.

TidyDancer Thu 23-May-13 22:20:04

Nope, I love it. smile

cocolepew Thu 23-May-13 22:20:44

I love it and I'm very cool grin

TidyDancer Thu 23-May-13 22:20:48

That would be no you're not naff, yes it is cool. grin

SkinnybitchWannabe Thu 23-May-13 22:22:41

It's still my favourite show and I often watch the repeats.
Phoebe running in the park always makes me laugh and I've seen it countless times

picnicbasketcase Thu 23-May-13 22:23:22

I used to like it but then C4 and E4 started showing each episode eight times a day. I don't find it funny anymore, I've seen them too much.

Hazelbrowneyes Thu 23-May-13 22:23:43

I love it too grin

Samu2 Thu 23-May-13 22:24:03

No everyone must love Friends!

I have a Ross. He wasn't actually named after him but I did like the association because when he was born everyone assumed it was after Ross for Friends.

Manchesterhistorygirl Thu 23-May-13 22:24:59

You are not being unreasonable I still love it. Always will do. grin

CremeEggThief Thu 23-May-13 22:25:13

YANBU. Haven't seen any repeats for a while, but I still class it as one of my all-time favourite shows.

Samu2 Thu 23-May-13 22:25:26

That was a horribly worded post shock

I guess I should go to bed lol

Ghirly Thu 23-May-13 22:25:45

YANBU!
I love it too.....

piprabbit Thu 23-May-13 22:26:23

Apparently it's very popular with young teens.
According to Woman's Hour here.

PelvicFloorClenchReminder Thu 23-May-13 22:26:31

I still love it too! In fact I was giggling to myself in the bath earlier, thinking of Joey saying, "It's a cow's opinion, it's MOO"

BimbaBirba Thu 23-May-13 22:27:26

I adore FRIENDS so YANBU

gallifrey Thu 23-May-13 22:27:45

my dd is named after a friends character too grin

BerryLellow Thu 23-May-13 22:27:52

I don't care if it is naff, I still love it!

bedmonster Thu 23-May-13 22:28:07

YANBU [shocked]

It's like a cosy blanket that programme, all familiar and comforting. DS was having his sleep earlier so I got back into bed and dozed during about 4 episodes! It was lovely smile

bedmonster Thu 23-May-13 22:28:32

Oops, I am shock at my own faux pas!

Steffanoid Thu 23-May-13 22:28:47

I have it on when I go to sleep on repeat cause I cant sleep when theres no noise

LouiseD29 Thu 23-May-13 22:29:30

It's definitely not cool - but who cares? I love it and watch it almost constantly. I have a theory that at any given time there's always an episode playing somewhere in the world if you look hard enough.

NoelHeadbands Thu 23-May-13 22:30:36

Ah I've read all the stuff on here about it, but I still love it grin

It reminds me of brilliant time in my life, and it's just funny

My 12yo daughter has the whole collection on box set and is on her second viewing now

Quangle Thu 23-May-13 22:31:19

And I love Joey not understanding what it means when you do the " " sign with your fingers. And when Ross finds out about Rachel. And when Ross finds out about Monica and Chandler. And practically every episode.

Totally cool obviously.

CorrieDale Thu 23-May-13 22:31:35

Maybe. It's a moo point.

We say this to the DCs. They haven't a clue what we're on about. I've tried explaining but I can see them zoning me out. Philistines.
