You can still view the deletion message if you try and visit the thread from your phone or browser history.
Then there is no need to fill up a stirry gossippy bitchy thrilling thread with christ knows how many 'marking place's and '.'
Thanks Maryz.
So the only options are to post something meaningful or use the blank post method? live in hope you refresh at the right moment. Hmm, sounds as though I may need to be on here a bit more so as not to miss anything.
The other option is to MN from an iPad or similar so that you can just revisit the deleted page from your history list. As good an excuse as any to get one I suppose
ignores option 2

I am terribly sorry Barbara.
I suspect I may not have RTFT
Option 3 is just to admit to being nosy and post "marking place [nosy]".
That's my preferred method atm.
Thanks Maryz
Surely option 3 is just fine. Bonus points for the [not a real emoticon]

I've never seen a thread deletion message.
I never knew there was a "my history" button. Been here years - serial name changer.

I don't particularly give a shit about the deletion message anyway.
If they're any good you usually get at least three separate threads telling you about it.
Yes that's right, I'm a maverick. A loose cannon.

I can't find a My History button on either my iphone or PC
<missing out??>
On the iPhone, in Safari, touch the Bookmarks book icon at the bottom of the screen. One of the folders listed on the menu will be History. Mine goes back to Feb 9th, not sure if you can change that in Settings.

OK thanks for that - I use the Ap!
So it's browser History everyone is talking about, not a 'history' provided by MN.
