The thought of Holmes staring and commenting on me in my undies gives me the heebie jeebies!

And yes, IABU for watching TM when he and his grinny wife are presenting.

And the underwear was extremely badly fitting and revolting. Fancy having a camera pointing at you fanjo whilst you wear crunchy nylon tat that is making your bits sweat....nice

Whenever Eamonn is on it's just one huge cringe. You never know what he's going to say next.

He's so creepy, I don't know why he's still on!

Me neither. Did you see that couple who are waiting for a heart for their one year old? He was interviewing them, and I was just waiting for him to say something accidentally that would make me go Shock.

mind you Gloria Hunniford interviewing James Bulger's father was awful. Sad

Thank God Ruth has sorted her hair out now, I saw her the other day and it looks so much better Grin

Eammon - I'm not even sure why he is still on telly tbh.

Eamonn's hair appears to be blue today. He has zero interest in any of the guests and it shows. he doesn't even bother to pretend. It's like watching my 74 year old Dad interviewing people.

I like Ruth very much, what she sees in EH I can't imagine.

I had to stop watching Gloria Hunniford interviewing Ralph Bulger, I got really cross with the questions she was asking

Ooh Noel me too. Like when he said he went to the railway line she asked 'How did it make you feel?'.

I would imagine there is a risk of genuine error too. Forgetting to scan something etc

Yy Sparkling

And which bits of what happened do you torture yourself thinking about? (or words to that effect)

I was a bit shocked, because as someone who has lost a child herself i thought she would be able to empathise and ask the right questions. The poor poor man looked like a rabbit in the headlights.

I love ruth & eamonn, i prefer them to holly & phil. Ruth is really attractive, he's punching above his weight with her.

I couldn't look at ralph bulger's face, it was too heartbreaking, you can still see the pain in his eyes.

I missed it after the undies. Hunniford interviewed Ralph Bulger?! I dread to think what other questions she asked.

Sensitive interviews should be left to journalists, not morning presenters who's training has involved reading autocues!

didn't see it - but surely anyone prancing about in underwear on telly is paid to do so, and knows what they are doing?

Loath Hunniford. She is right up there with Eammon for being false and vile with no human empathy at all. Ruth however is lovely.

specialsubject Yes of course it's part of the job but still! They're going to work and Holmes gives off a pervy vibe.

That programme is like watching Jeremy Kyle, some days. Their 'interviews' just seem to be an excuse to gawp at unfortunate or loathsome people.

I miss Richard and Judy.

I prefer Holly Willoughby's interviews (as crappy interviewers go). She at least seems able to introduce some humanity to them, and appears close to tears at times when it is an upsetting subject.

Pip Schofield used to be ok'ish until he turned into a Savile Sex Abuse-Denier.

But today,Ruth's hair was really dated!

Like a trifle.

I don't think I could bear to see an interview with Jamie Bulger's father.

I read the serialisation of his book in the Sunday papers.

Horrific reading, I was in tears and still can't stop thinking about it.

That poor poor man, that poor family. I didn't realise that he and his wife had a stillborn daughter prior to Jamie Sad

How much sadness and horror can one family take? And then the breakdown of the parent's relationship...

I felt a bit like a voyeur reading it but also felt that I had to somehow. That poor man is still suffering and I don't want to just turn the page and forget it or push it away to the back of my mind, because he is still living with it everyday.

Sorry to witter on about this but I was really affected by his story and it is just awful if his interview was insensitively handled.

Hate Scofield with a passion. His attitude to the Savile abuse survivors was sickening.
And he has a problem with women talking about their needs too.
When Louise Van Der Velde was on there a few weeks back there was just something in the way he spoke to her and the way he looked at her that reeked of mysogyny.

fedupofnamechanging · 12/02/2013 16:27

The trouble with Schofield is that he has been encouraged to think he is a big star and now the ego has taken over.
