I can always find something I'd like to buy at a Pampered Chef party. Many others here will disagree.

I've bought loads of expensive pc stuff I never use,

Their stoneware. Can't be arsed to clean it.
Rice cooker., plastic microwave thing. Just a general can't be arsed to get it out the cupboard. Pan is easier. Plus I can't remember how to do the nice chips in it.
Some metal baking tray that is too big o o in dishwasher easily.
Their bamboo wooden spoons with a rectangle handle that hurt my hand when stirring.

oooo maybe not then! I quite like the sound of the "nice chips" thingy though.........

Viva I'll take your stoneware off your hands if it's getting too much for you
I'm currently planning mine so I can get my hands on the stuff!

I quite liked the expensive onion chopping gadget for the two times I could be arsed to use it.

oh is that the thing that takes 5 mins to assemble and 30 to wash?

I had a cool clicky measuring spoon from them years and years ago.

I bought the onion chopper thingy and it was shite

The pizza stone is awesome.

I use my food chopper all the time and have for years now.

Most of my friends ideas of cooking is put a ready meal in a microwave and nuke until too hot to touch...

Cant see me getting too many invites...

I have a friend in Texas who regularly sends me invites.. but as I am in London.. getting there would be a bit of a problem..

I use my round stone thingy weekly. Does good potato wedges. And I also use the apple slicer/ potato wedge slicer.

There's nothing wrong with a sharp knife, a wooden spoon and a couple of bowls. No one actually needs these 'modern' implements. <hides electric blender used for making soup but that's all I have>. They are all a waste of money when a bit of elbow grease will do the job for you.

i always use my pizza stone , medium bar pan and casserole dish , but not my plastic mincer thing , use my cookie cutters occasionally.
Your stoneware is fine in the dishwasher rather than scraping it everytime.

Ooohh Lilyloo, I use the medium bar too, all the time and the large roasting tray thingy with deep sides. DH loves them and has taken it upon himself to be the only one who cleans them.

The stoneware does seem expensive when you first look at the price but we have never bought metal baking trays since (about 4 years).

I also have the measuring spoons, the mince masher and as a special treat bought the cooling rack - expensive I know for a wire rack but use it quite often.

The can opener and the garlic press are fantastic.

Especially the can opener!

I love my PC stuff.

The best thing is, the teenagers wash up, so I don't have the hassle of cleaning certain products.

I still use a lot of the stuff that my mum used.. knives, pyrex stuff.. some of it is over 50 years old, and still going strong.

There was an article in the Daily Mail recently about a bloke who reckoned he had the oldest toaster in the UK... fair enough.. but he reckoned it cost £20 for it in 1953.. !!!! ermm yes.. so that would have been about £700 in comparative terms today... another Daily Fail.

PC is the culinery equivalent of the Scientologists.

I found the whole experience weird and unnerving. Invited to a lunch that turned out to be one of these things - the host did not make that bit clear. A PC rep who told us er life had changed as a result of finding PC. We all sat about pretending to be interested in the way over priced stuff with the odd stooge whoe said yes its worth every penny with a glazed look in their eye.

I did find myself not wanting to look like a tight arse and and bought a muffin tray for £19. Then ran like hell.

I could have got one for £1 in Asda. Its still in the plastic.
