I think lightbulb is a hint, blue is the correct words and yellow is the spangram.

Today's confused me by having two words as the spangram as I'd tried them both separately.

When you complete a word - it gives you a blue dot. When you find the spanagram - a word/words that describes the theme of the day it gives you a yellow dot. The spanagram spans the whole board from one side to the other.

a lightbulb is when you use a hint - which you earn by finding 3 non theme words.

I really enjoyed that, adding it to the regulars list!
