Luxury hot chocolate powder

I’d like to buy DH some really luxury hot chocolate powder for Christmas, do any of you lovely people have any recommendations?

Requirements are plain flavour and ideally slightly dark chocolate.

He drinks Cadbury’s at the moment, the stuff you mix with hot milk so I’m after something more decadent. TIA.

Hotel Chocolat also do some lovely ones and you can find some great small independent ones, good to check out independent coffee shops that often sell them.

Betty's hot chocolate is lovely. And they do gift sets with biscuits too which is always a winner!

I was looking at the Whittard of Chelsea ones the other day, even the packaging is gorgeous.

I haven’t tried it myself but the reviews were very good.

Whittard's is excellent, highly recommend.

I've been working my way through a Hotel Chocolat variety pack for the last year. Mainly because it was v expensive but also because it has 85% chocolate in there which is vile. Their salted caramel, praline and 50% are nice though - although G&B with a spoonful of nutella does the job equally as well.

I use Hotel Chocolat with the Velvetiser. Money well spent.

Choccoco. I just bought some for a friend's birthday. I can't tell you how good it is. Online or via the store in Winchester.

This is the best hot chocolate I have ever drunk: Miscos

It's a mix of cocoa powder and chocolate, and comes in varying degrees of milk/white/dark chocolate. Yum!

Some of the nicer ones are not powder but flakes chocolate.

Hotel Chocolat is nice as is Betty's.

Fortnum's is good. Comes in a few varieties.

Whittard’s is very good - I like their white chocolate flavour as well ♥️
