A book on mushrooms. From DH. Although I asked for it for at least 2 years before I got one.

A 'professional' hand blender.

Didn't ask for it but still mighty chuffed. Although personally, as much as I love cooking, I wouldn't spend that much on a hand blender.

A biography of Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter.
I've loved the Bob Dylan song about him for years but only got around to finding the book the other week, and asked DH to get it for me. He was , who is he?

Some measuring spoons, with little birds on taken DH 3 years to buy them for me!!

A Dyson Cat and Dog vacuum cleaner from my mum and dad. Very generous as they are v expensive

A slanket. I was bloody delighted.

Yankee candles. Everyone would be a bit but I love them.

A horse measuring stick - thrilled!

I bought dp a label maker and she loves it. I suspect everything will have a label on it by the end of today (possibly including us)...

A cooker! We desperately needed a new one and mum paid half for us.

A book on the history of the WI. And a book on effective use case writing. DH did brilliantly this year !

I got a garden shed which I am crazily happy about! My parents gave it to us and Dad built it this morning.
I have been happily filling it up with stuff all day!

A slow cooker! Very excited

What is effective use case writing?

I got a potato masher with a comfy handle - I asked for it (from granny-in-law) and am very pleased with it.

Also a big bundle of empty crisp packets. Nobody else would want those.

PMSL at mushroom book - DH wants one too
he has a book that has some info on mushrooms in it, and was sat in bed reading it, with his dressing gown that is a jedi suit and a head lamp on (don't ask). I told him if anyone called him a geek, to hit them with his light saber!
