This relates to FB posts re the No Outsiders training in schools, which has been discussed in previous posts.

I see that Michael Foran has been helpful.

Gymrabbit · 12/02/2025 13:01

This is good. Presumably she is due a massive pay out for lost wages etc?

Glamourreader · 12/02/2025 13:05

Fantastic! Well done Kristie, it's so important that we are all allowed to express concern.

Imnobody4 · 12/02/2025 13:28

Brilliant news - just heard on Times radio. Well done Kristie.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 12/02/2025 13:48

Well done to Kristie and I think this could have been one of us Flowers

They basically had a kangaroo court at the school for hours.

SinnerBoy · 12/02/2025 13:59

Oh, marvellous news! I also hope that she gets a large compensation package. Presumably, the school will now have to write her a good reference, to boot.

Some highlights of this case was not one but two TRA adjacent judges having to recuse themselves from the appeal.

@Justme56 would it be possible for you to get MN to change the name on your OP title? She is Kristie Higgs.

RevUlsion · 12/02/2025 15:39

Good outcome.

Of course, not everybody will agree with all of Kristie's views (eg you might agree with her that trans ideology is inappropriate for small children, but not with her hesitations over gay marriage).

But she has a right to believe and express what she believes, and those beliefs are protected in the Equality Act.

'For the first time in employment law, the judgment has effectively established a legal presumption that any dismissal for an expression or manifestation of Christian faith is illegal.' Quite right.

Yes, exactly.
