I think it would be good to have a thread where we can post bits of activism. Sometimes they don't see worth a whole thread of their own, and they don't feel quite right in chat either, so here's a thread.

I've emailed the organisers and they say they are thinking about it rather than the usual immediate attempt to defend.

Do you remember the phone sock on littlewoods online that was aimed at girls and said something like 'I'm too pretty to do maths'? I emailed them to complain (as did others) and I got an email back yesterday to say they removed it from their online store. A teeny, tiny bit of activism, but I felt chuffed. Have to start somewhere
