"We sell big knockers" poster banned

I read in Sarah Vine's column in the Times today about an ASA ruling banning a poster which objectified women.

A poster for Tricketts, a door and window installation company, featured a topless woman whose breasts were covered by door knockers. Text stated "WE SELL BIG KNOCKERS Window Hinges Door Handles Window Handles ...".

Ruling here.

What I found interesting is that it only took 1 person to report this.

Therefore it is worth reporting things to the ASA (although I am aware that they are an industry self-regulating body and that the objectification has to be pretty overt for them to act).

I reported the Dr Pepper Status Takeover and am awaiting a reply to that.

Yeah good luck. I'm amazed that an ad with 1 teeny complaint can get pulled while loads of us complained about a couple of offensive ads only to be told not to worry our pretty little heads about it.
