Weather requests for information from Alfreton and Bromborough please

It seems that the weather has become rather lively this afternoon (!) with some weather related damage. TORRO are looking for information from Alfreton and Bromborough please. If you witnessed an extra lively weather in these areas please could you either let me know on this thread, or if you want to stay anon pm me or fill in a TORRO form here

Information gathered really helps us understand the nature of severe weather and tornadoes in this country. So any help is very much appreciated.

Damage from Alfreton pictured here please ignore the 'mini tornado' theres no such thing, we have weak, moderate and strong tornadoes and if this was caused by a tornado then it would not be a weak one.

heard reports of this on the national news/weather but as the children were about i only caught every third word.

It seems as though there may have been a tornado in Haverthwaite too.

Nothing for a while and they all come in like buses on a nice active cold front.

Last night's (10.30pm) East Midlands news covered the Alfreton tornado. There was also a report on today's lunchtime news which should be on iPlayer a bit later.
