Why do we have a yellow warning for snow but none forecast?

Hope it's not going to be a wake in the morning to 50ft of unexpected snow day,do the met office just put nothing when they not sure?why don't they just say not sure!?

They said on the BBC forecast that they can't call it as to whether or not the weather system hitting Cornwall tonight will work its way up as far as Gloucestershire or not. They are going with 'not' but said it is a possibility.

Sorry, that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot grin
