My DS has been ebf plus solids for 10.5 months. I'm going back to work next month so am trying to gradually switch to formula during the day - but he hates it! However, he will drink cow's milk. Given I'm still bfeeding at night, do you think a slightly early switch to cow's milk will do any harm? And will I be judged?

My DD has cows milk in nursery from 10mo. It's not a main drink as its just 20-30ml, definitely not replacing a bf or ff. I asked this before and also on dr Jackman Newman site it says it's ok.
I think it depends on how much your LO will drink. Mine is basically off bf during the day.

mine was 12 months, but i dont think there is any reason why not at 1 months.
full fat stuff though, never gave him the semi skimmed.

I don't think a month will make tha much difference, especially as you are still bfing too.
Thanks all! Will gleefully chuck the rest of the sodding formula away then
