14 mo DD refusing dinner

Hi,

We did BLW with our DD and it has gone brilliantly. She usually eats really well.

The last week she's been refusing her dinner - even if it is things I think she usually would enjoy. Breakfast and lunch are going down fine though. She has eaten fruit having left her dinner.

Is it a bad idea to offer her the fruit - will she learn she can have what she wants to eat if she refuses what is offered first?

I'm wondering if it's just because she's tired - although she's not seeming that tired at dinner time, she's very busy on the go all the time at the moment and is just getting the hang of walking. So she is being very active and learning new skills!

I wouldn't offer the fruit, if she doesn't want to the dinner fine, just clear away what she's left when you've finished your meal and if you normally have pudding then let her have that.

Hopefully she will be back to eating her dinner once she's mastered the walking smile.

She just might not feel like it. DD does this, especially when she's about to teeth.
